Our Story

We met while attending a friend's wedding in December 1999. After a short engagement, we were married and knew we wanted to have a child right from the beginning. We have a very strong and happy relationship with a lot of laughter.  We have made so many great memories and are always embarking on new adventures. Parenthood is going to be the best adventure. Michell was raised in Florida and has worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 14 years. She absolutely loves helping parents bring new life into the world and can't wait until she holds our child for the first time. Michell currently works part-time and looks forward to spending more time at home being a mommy. She can just imagine a day full of reading stories, playing games or going out for a play date. David is very creative and spends his days renovating old homes. Working for his own company, he keeps very flexible hours and can't wait for school lunches, plays and soccer games with our child. David was born and raised in Manchester, England and was adopted as an infant. David grew up in a family that was open about adoption and feels that his upbringing will give him a great deal of insight into helping our child understand adoption.
